Mental Health Support That Meets You Where You Are

Trauma-informed, neuro-affirming counselling and mental health support, in Swan Hill and via telehealth across Victoria and Australia.

At Mind Over Matters, we believe good mental health support should be accessible regardless of your postcode, diagnosis, neurotype, or how long you’ve been struggling. We bring together professional expertise and lived experience to provide practical, individualised support that considers the whole person — not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. Whether you’re looking for help with your mental health, navigating neurodivergence, working through trauma, or building capacity and wellbeing through the NDIS, we’re here to meet you where you are.

Who we work with

Lived Experience
Our practice is informed by lived experience of neurodivergence, alongside professional training and clinical expertise. That understanding shapes how we listen, work and support you.

Regional & Telehealth
Based in Swan Hill and connected to the Loddon Mallee community, we provide face-to-face support locally, with telehealth available across Victoria and Australia.

Neuro-Affirming
Neurodivergence is understood as a difference in how people experience and interact with the world, not something that needs to be fixed. We adapt our approach to the person, rather than expecting the person to adapt to therapy.

Evidence-Informed
We draw from approaches including EMDR, schema therapy, neuro-affirming CBT, ACT, attachment theory and Gottman Method-informed practice. We use approaches supported by research, while recognising that good therapy also needs to fit the individual sitting in front of us.
